Kristin Cavallari recently expressed her frustration with a particular man who consistently seeks her attention on social media.

In the latest installment of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, the 39-year-old former MTV personality—fresh from a lively time in Los Angeles—criticized married men who frequently ‘like’ her Instagram Stories while opting not to follow her account.

During a Tuesday discussion focused on dating red flags, she cautioned her audience to be suspicious of ‘married men who are liking every story but not liking a feed post.’ Although Instagram Story likes remain private, likes on regular posts are visible to all users.

She highlighted one man in particular, commenting, ‘There’s this one guy who has his wife in his profile picture. He likes every single story I post but doesn’t follow me or like any of my feed posts.’

Kristin didn’t hold back, declaring, ‘The only reason you’re doing that is to try and get my attention. To me, you’re a complete scumbag. I wish I could call these people out or message the wife saying, “Here’s what your husband is up to. Look at all these likes.” You’re trash!’

The mom-of-three said on the episode, ‘In a perfect world, ladies, we would get into a relationship and our guy would unfollow every random girl that they don’t know.’

She noted, ‘Following girls [is] not a big deal. Don’t stress it. But the liking of the pictures is a bit of a red flag.’

In her case, she said of the people responding to her Instagram Stories: ‘A lot of them are athletes. And they don’t follow me either. But they’re verified and I see a lot of the verified activity. These guys are married.’

Kristin’s love life has played out publicly since she was a teen starring on MTV’s hit show about the lives of high school students in Southern California.

She was initially linked to classmate Stephen Colletti, and later went on to have high-profile romances with Brody Jenner, Justin Bobby, and Morgan Wallen, as well as other lesser known flings.

The entrepreneur and former NFL star Jay Cutler tied the knot in June 2013 and divorced in 2020.

They share sons Camden, 13, Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, 10. 

Speaking with Interview magazine in March 2025, she said her co-parenting relationship with the retired athlete is ‘the ultimate test in life.’

Cavallari reflected on the relationship on Tuesday’s episode, saying, ‘When I dated Mark, I remember someone said to me: you just do it until it doesn’t bring you joy anymore.’

She announced their split in an October 2024 podcast episode, telling her listeners that it was her decision to call it quits.

‘He’s been the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. I just know long-term he needs to experience life. He’s young… I started to feel the age a little bit with life experience,’ she explained.

The multihyphenate added: ‘I look back when I was 24 and how much life has happened between then. Those are crucial years, those are formative years, they’re when you find yourself and he needs to be able to do that.’
