Gold Coast Health has issued a warning after two individuals unknowingly contracted a viral infection while traveling abroad.
The alert identifies several locations, including the Hillsong Church Gold Coast, Robina Town Centre, ALDI Robina, and various local medical centers, as potential exposure sites.
A comprehensive list of these exposure sites is available below.
Individuals who have visited or worked at these locations are advised to be vigilant for measles symptoms for up to three weeks following their exposure.
Symptoms of measles include fever, cough, runny nose, sore eyes, and a distinctive blotchy, red rash.
The disease is highly contagious and spreads through airborne droplets.
Measles can cause serious complications, including pneumonia and encephalitis and can require hospitalisation
In Australia, two doses of the measles vaccine are offered to children under the National Immunisation Program, which provides long-term protection from the virus.

- ALDI Robina on Tuesday March 10 between 3pm – 4pm
- Liberti Church on Sunday March 22 between 09.15am – 11.45am
- Mudgee Bah Cafe on Sunday March 22 between 11.30am – 1.30pm
- Robina Town Centre including Woolworths on Sunday March 22 between 1pm – 4pm
