Vile 'Celeste is a liar' sky message appears above Coachella after D4vd's arrest for murder

Over the Coachella area, a peculiar skywriting message declaring “Celeste is a liar” sparked curiosity and intrigue, coinciding with the arrest of singer D4vd in relation to the murder of a young girl, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, aged 14.

The source of this aerial message remains unknown, and law enforcement has yet to confirm any connection between the skywriting and the ongoing murder investigation, leaving room for rampant speculation.

The coincidence of these events quickly captured the attention of the public, igniting discussions and theories across online platforms.

David Anthony Burke, known by his stage name D4vd, was apprehended by the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division on Thursday. The arrest took place at a Hollywood Hills residence where he had been staying.

Law enforcement officials have confirmed that Burke is currently held without bail. Footage from the scene depicted him being led away in handcuffs, further fueling the media frenzy surrounding the case.

Video from the scene showed Burke being escorted from the residence in handcuffs.

He had been out of public view for months prior to the arrest.

In an official statement, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the arrest.

“Detectives from Los Angeles Police Department, Robbery-Homicide Division have arrested David Burke, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, for the murder of Celeste Rivas. Burke is being held without bail.

The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday for filing consideration,” the department said.

Authorities also confirmed that a grand jury investigation into the case began in February 2026, with Burke identified as a target during the proceedings.

The “Celeste is a liar” skywriting seen near Coachella has not been attributed to any individual or organization, and investigators have not publicly addressed whether it relates to the case.

For now, it remains an unexplained and unverified detail circulating alongside a rapidly developing criminal investigation.
