Powerhouse attorney reveals alleged Eric Swalwell rape victim about to drop ton of evidence

Renowned attorney Lisa Bloom has announced that she has obtained additional evidence related to a rape accusation against Congressman Eric Swalwell. Bloom also revealed that more individuals have come forward with allegations.

Bloom, who is representing the accuser, Lonna Drewes, shared these developments during an interview with Ashley Zavala on California Politics 360. The discussion centered on Drewes’ claim that Swalwell allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2018.

In a poignant press conference held last week, Drewes publicly detailed her accusations against Swalwell, marking a significant step in her pursuit of justice.

“I am incredibly proud to represent the courageous Lonna Drewes,” Bloom stated. She further noted that Drewes’ case has now been advanced to the special victims unit and is under review by the district attorney’s office.

Bloom underscored the seriousness with which Los Angeles County law enforcement is handling the case, and expressed her unwavering belief in its strength, affirming, “I have no doubt in my mind.”

Bloom also disclosed that Drewes is preparing to present a significant trove of evidence that has been stored away.

“She has some additional evidence she needs to get out of a storage unit, there’s some additional witness names, people she talked to after the incident,” Bloom said. “We are fully cooperating with the sheriff’s investigation.”

Bloom has spoken with four more women who may soon come forward with their own sexual harassment allegations.

“I expect that number will continue to rise,” she added. She stressed that confidential conversations are the crucial first step in building the case.

When asked whether the women or potential witnesses would come forward and speak publicly, she said: “That’s not something we would ever push somebody to do.”

“It’s entirely their choice, but talking confidentially to us, of course, for free is the first step so that we can gather information to help Lonna.”

Drewes recounted that her initial interactions with Swalwell began under the pretense of business.

She claimed she met Swalwell with the goal of establishing a “business relationship” and was interested in the “professional connections he offered to provide.”

Swalwell reportedly told her he could introduce her to people in Silicon Valley.

But during their third meeting, he allegedly slipped something into her drink and took her back to his hotel room.

Several women have now come forward with accusations of sexual assault or misconduct against Swalwell, allegations he continues to firmly deny.
