INDIA

Indian weddings are renowned for their opulence, but a new trend is taking extravagance to the next level: waitresses serving guests while gliding on hoverboards. Event planners are embracing this novel idea, which adds a touch of futuristic flair and is perfect for capturing attention on social media. Instead of the traditional waiter attire, these servers sport eye-catching, coordinated outfits paired with sneakers. However, the trend hasn’t been universally welcomed. One social media user commented, “Money doesn’t equate to class. The waitresses’ attire is quite inappropriate.”

AUSTRALIA

Meet the postman who braves all weather to deliver mail — by boat. The Riverboat Postman service, an integral part of Australia’s postal system since 1910, caters to the residents along the picturesque Hawkesbury River. “On a typical day, we deliver between 400 and 600 items, ranging from postcards to fridges,” shared Justin Pigneguy with CNN. These deliveries also provide a social lifeline, offering river residents a chance to catch up on local news as they receive their mail.

ARGENTINA

In Buenos Aires, soccer enthusiasts are facing disappointment as a beloved tradition comes to an end. Fans in the capital city will no longer be allowed to shower the stands in confetti during matches.

Soccer fans in Argentina are upset because they can no longer throw confetti onto the field in Buenos Aires, which has been a long-held and fun tradition. The city declared the practice too dangerous after a fire broke out at a recent match. LatinContent via Getty Images

The Buenos Aires Sports Security Committee issued a “preventive” ban on the fun, following a fire that broke out during a recent match at Monumental Stadium. Firefighters extinguished the flames that damaged several stadium seats and caused spectators to flee. “Even though the home club had previously approved contingency protocols and the necessary resources for their implementation, an incident occurred that clearly demonstrates the potential ignition risk that these materials pose in contexts with high concentrations of people,” city authorities said.

ENGLAND

It’s official. A British couple’s pet bunny was named the oldest rabbit living by Guinness World Records at the age of 15 years and 82 days old — double the life expectancy of an average rabbit. Herbie, a lionhead rabbit belonging to Surrey residents Richard and Melissa Dunham, had his age verified on Nov. 10, 2025, and the record is now in the books.
