Donald Trump's reacts to learning he's a cousin of King Charles....

Donald Trump was visibly thrilled when it was revealed exclusively by the Daily Mail that he has royal lineage, being a distant relative of King Charles III.

This intriguing connection arises from a shared ancestry with the 3rd Earl of Lennox, a great-grandson of the Scottish king, James II. According to the Daily Mail’s research, this link positions Trump and Charles as 15th cousins.

In a characteristically enthusiastic response on Truth Social, Trump expressed his delight: “Wow, that’s nice. I’ve always wanted to live in Buckingham Palace! I’ll talk to the King and Queen about this in a few minutes!”

The timing of this revelation coincides with a significant moment, as King Charles and Queen Camilla are currently in the United States for a four-day state visit. Trump is hosting the royal couple at the White House to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence.

Adding to the historical nature of this visit, King Charles is set to deliver a speech to lawmakers on the floor of Congress on Tuesday afternoon, marking the first time a British monarch has done so in 35 years.

The royal visit comes as US-British relations remain at a historic low due to Trump’s frustration with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s refusal to provide military support in the Iran war.

Trump recently dismissed the British leader as ‘not Winston Churchill’ and branded other NATO European allies ‘cowards’ and ‘useless’ for avoiding the conflict.

Trump greeted the King and Queen at the White House yesterday alongside First Lady Melania Trump.

On arrival, Charles kissed Melania on each cheek as she leaned down to greet him, while Trump and Camilla exchanged a handshake.

Trump pointed to the floor and asked His Majesty to stand next to his wife.

As the cameras clicked, they made convivial small talk, Trump pointing out some landmarks, including, it is believed, a tree planted by his mother, Queen Elizabeth, when she visited in 1991.

Before going inside, the President could be seen apparently pointing toward the ongoing ballroom construction on the grounds.

The two couples then made their way inside for their private meeting, where they enjoyed tea in the White House’s lavish reception area in the Green Room. The group then headed outside to view the beehives.

The royal visit will conclude this evening with a lavish state dinner in the East Room of the White House.

The President’s adult family members will be in attendance, including Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

Some of the most powerful congressional leaders and cabinet members are attending, such as House Speaker Mike Johnson and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Security for the trip is extremely tight following a shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner where Trump was in attendance just two days prior to his arrival.

Addressing the weekend scare, Buckingham Palace released a statement saying that the monarch was ‘greatly relieved to hear that the president, first lady and all guests have been unharmed.’

The royal couple are staying in the Blair House, the historic guest house adjacent to the US leader’s official residence.
