Florida man allegedly shot woman in neck, dragged her back inside before hiding in backyard pool

In an unrelated incident in Florida, a man is facing serious charges following an alleged violent confrontation. Authorities have charged him with attempted murder after he reportedly shot a woman in the neck and forcibly took her back into her residence.

The Wildwood Police Department responded to a distress call around 11:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Witnesses reported hearing an argument that escalated to gunfire, as detailed in an arrest report obtained by WKMG.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her neck, lying in a driveway. She was immediately airlifted to a hospital, where she is fighting for her life.
