Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger and his long-time partner, Heather Milligan, showcased their enduring and private romance this week, which has flourished for over ten years.
Heather Milligan, a 51-year-old physical therapist, began her relationship with the 78-year-old action star, famous for his role in “Terminator,” back in 2012.
Their paths crossed when Schwarzenegger had shoulder surgery and sought Milligan’s expertise, following a recommendation from none other than Sylvester Stallone.
Throughout the years, the couple has kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight, with their last public appearance being a double date last April.
This week, however, the duo was spotted radiating happiness as they enjoyed a dinner at Nobu Malibu, a hotspot frequently visited by the Kardashians.
For the evening, Schwarzenegger opted for a black blazer, a matching t-shirt, and blue jeans, while Milligan embraced summer fashion in a chic white outfit.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heather Milligan proved this week their ultra-private romance of more than a decade is still going strong when they were spotted at Nobu Malibu
Letting her blonde hair cascade freely over her shoulders, she accessorized trendily with a set of dark sunglasses in spite of the fact night had fallen.
Her snappy coat, simple top and pristine white trousers were perfectly fitted to emphasize her athletically slender physique.
Their last public sighting was in April 2025, when they were glimpsed stepping out to dinner at the Santa Monica celebrity hot spot Giorgio Baldi with US diplomat Edward Djerejian, who has served as an ambassador to both Syria and Israel, via Hola!.
Milligan struck up her relationship with Schwarzenegger the year after the collapse of his 25-year marriage to John F. Kennedy’s niece Maria Shriver.
Shriver left Schwarzenegger in the wake of the scandal that engulfed the family when it emerged he had fathered a son with their housekeeper Mildred Baena.
That son, Joseph Baena, is now 28 and has followed in Schwarzenegger’s footsteps to become a bodybuilder under the mentorship of his proud father.
In 2012, Schwarzenegger had just had shoulder surgery and was preparing to shoot his film Escape Plan with Stallone, who referred him to Milligan for physical therapy.
Stallone told him: ‘There’s only one, it’s Heather – any athlete, I always send them to her, because she’s the only one that really knows what they’re talking about.’

Schwarzenegger recalled: ‘So I went to her, and then after my therapy was finished, after I was finished with the movie, I called her back and took her out for lunch to say thank you. And then one thing led to the next,’ per People.
He remarked in 2023 that he paid visits to Milligan’s Los Angeles clinic Elite OrthoSport, where her patients include sportsmen from the NFL, the NBA and WWE.
‘I schmooze with them while they’re getting therapy, because I admire them, they’re great athletes. Even though a lot of them make me feel like a little chicken,’ he said.
Schwarzenegger raved that their relationship was ‘fantastic,’ noting she ‘grew up tough’ and gushing: ‘We have so many things in common. I think the world of her. I love that she’s into working. She’s clearly independent. She just is driven as hell.’
He also expressed admiration for her role as the ‘driving force’ of her family, caring for her cancer-stricken parents and for her ailing grandmother in Nebraska.
‘Every night, she’s with her grandmother on the phone for at least a half an hour. I mean, that’s when you get to know a person, the heart they have,’ he said.
