Queensland Police have searched a luxury beachside unit owned by prominent surgeon Dr Reza Adib, the partner of former premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.

This afternoon, there was a notable presence of officers at a beachfront apartment in Burleigh Heads. They were observed moving in and out of the residence, carrying bags filled with collected evidence.

According to the police, the gathering of evidence is part of an ongoing investigation. However, no charges have been filed at this time.

Palaszczuk and her partner have been in a relationship since 2021. As this investigation continues, Palaszczuk remains engaged with her public commitments.
