Jen Vrabel, the spouse of Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, is reportedly devastated by allegations of an affair involving her husband and sports journalist Dianna Russini.
Mike Vrabel, 50, is currently undergoing counseling following accusations of an extramarital relationship with Russini. These claims emerged after Page Six published images of the pair at an Arizona resort costing $2,500 per night. Russini has since stepped down from her position at The Athletic.
Both Vrabel and Russini, who are married and have children, have denied the affair, asserting that they were part of a larger group at the resort during the time the photos were taken.
In an effort to mend their relationship, the Vrabels recently attended a “marriage summit” over the weekend. The couple reportedly traveled to Park City, Utah, for an urgent 24-hour meeting aimed at confronting the challenges in their marriage, as reported by Page Six.
New photos captured Jen Vrabel returning to Boston on Tuesday. Dressed casually in a sweatshirt and jeans, she was seen alone as she got into a taxi, with her husband already having returned separately.

The future of their marriage remains uncertain, despite Mike Vrabel’s expressions of remorse and their efforts at reconciliation. The couple, together since 1999, share two children and face an uphill battle to restore their relationship.
As Jen touched back down on the East Coast, one insider told the Daily Mail that, as it stands, their marriage is hanging in the balance, with Jen set to make a ‘tough decision’ in the near future amid the ongoing saga.
‘Jen is p***ed, embarrassed, and horrified that this is her life right now,’ the source told the Daily Mail.
‘To live through this in the public eye, being judged by friends and family, being judged by people she has never met. It is a nightmare.’
‘But as much as the trust has been broken, the “till death do us part” is what she is trying to make work,’ the source continued.
‘And with the trust that has been broken, she is looking to see if Mike can be the man she fell in love with and if he will put in the work to actually change.’
The source confirmed that, while Jen has been left ‘angry’ by the situation, she is willing to ‘give him a chance’ to save their marriage; starting with his counseling.
‘He is not out of the woods yet, and maybe he never will be,’ the source revealed. ‘But this is a time of reflection. She is going to see if this will make them stronger or not.’

As she continues to weigh up her decision, the source claims that Jen has been left with just two options as she looks to move past this ordeal.
‘She wants to reconcile and not blow up her marriage. But if he doesn’t change, she will make that tough decision to move on.
‘But she is leaning on the potential of getting back to a better place,’ the source said.
Vrabel had announced last week that he would be skipping the third day of the NFL Draft to seek counseling in the wake of the Russini photos bombshell.
After attending the first two days of the draft, Vrabel is believed to have flown to Utah on Saturday while the Patriots made their picks in the fourth through seventh rounds.
In an emotional press conference, he admitted he had been forced to have some ‘difficult conversations’ with his family about the Russini scandal.
Speaking just over 30 minutes before the NFL Draft got underway, he said: ‘I understand that there are questions, but I take accountability for my actions and the actions that caused a distraction to the people that I care most about, my family, this football team, the organization and our fans.
‘My previous actions don’t meet the standard that I hold myself to. They don’t. What I believe is best for the two most important things in my life, my family and this football team, is for us to take the necessary steps to work together and to give them what I told them I’d give them, which is the best version of me, and that’s what we’re going to do.

‘That’s going to start, that has started, and that’ll continue this weekend and it’ll continue for however long it takes for me to give them and to complete that promise of giving them the best version of me possible.
‘My priorities are my family and this football team – and in that order – and there’s a balance there that I am going to create. My family needs me this weekend and that’s where I’ll be.’
The Patriots have thrown their support behind Vrabel so far and a separate source inside the team told the Daily Mail: ‘If we fired every athlete or coach for their sex lives, we wouldn’t have a team. The guys are committed to him, they support him.
‘Unless there’s something happening that I don’t know about, there’s no plan to replace him. He’s staying.’
Both Vrabel and Russini have denied any wrongdoing while insisting the photos of them hugging and hanging poolside at an adults-only resort are misleading.
However, her pleas of innocence came under suspicion last week when the Post published six-year-old photos of Vrabel and Russini kissing at a New York bar.
Since then, the Daily Mail has obtained photos of Russini and Vrabel hanging at a Biloxi, Mississippi casino in 2024.
Russini was ultimately placed on leave and investigated by The Athletic’s parent company, The New York Times, only to resign from her position shortly afterwards. Her contract was reportedly set to expire at the end of June.

Meanwhile, a source recently revealed to the Daily Mail that the journalist has been left ‘shell-shocked’ by the scandal and is focusing on her children amid the chaos.
‘Dianna is a bit shell-shocked by it all and has not really shown her hand in all of this, as it has been a very intense situation that she is still trying to figure out and feel out,’ a source told the Daily Mail.
‘She’s neither here nor there right now as the dust hasn’t settled one bit. Nobody including herself knows what the next move for her will be.
‘One thing she is mainly focusing on is being a mom and to protect her kids through all of this madness.’
