Houston River Oaks murder-suicide: 2 adults, 2 kids found dead after River Oaks shooting reported on Kingston Street, police say

In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through a Texas community, four members of a family, including two adults and two children, were discovered deceased in their Houston home on Monday. This heartbreaking scene unfolded in the city’s River Oaks neighborhood.

The discovery came after the Houston Police Department responded to a welfare check call around 5:26 p.m. local time. The concerned call originated from a babysitter who had grown increasingly worried after failing to hear from the family living in the 2100-block of Kingston Street.

Upon entering the residence, officers found the two adults and two children, all related, lifeless. Early investigations by the authorities suggest the grim scenario could be a murder-suicide, although the precise motive behind the shooting remains unclear at this juncture.
