The tragic incident resulted in the deaths of 15 individuals, among them a young girl of just 10 years old, and left many others wounded.
While in custody, the 24-year-old suspect has faced an additional 19 charges, including ten counts of attempted murder through shooting and six counts related to discharging a firearm with the intent to resist arrest.
At this stage, he has not been asked to respond to any of these accusations with a plea.
It is alleged that the men hurled three pipe bombs, packed with steel ball bearings, and a tennis ball bomb into a crowd gathered for a Hanukkah celebration at Archer Park, before proceeding to open fire.
Fortunately, none of these explosive devices went off.
Authorities also reportedly discovered a box-shaped bomb in the trunk of their vehicle, along with two hand-painted flags associated with ISIS.
