A young daredevil claims he has climbed 55 Pitt Street in Sydney four times.

A daring adventurer recently took on Sydney’s tallest structure, scaling the building in a jaw-dropping ascent that has drawn the attention—and frustration—of local law enforcement.

The climber tackled the yet-to-be-completed skyscraper at 55 Pitt Street, documenting the entire journey online for the world to see.

In the video, the audacious individual is seen slipping past security unnoticed, embarking on a 48-storey climb.

Upon reaching the building’s summit, the thrillseeker continued his ascent by tackling a crane, all without any protective equipment.

During his breathtaking climb, he stopped momentarily to take in the sprawling views of the city below.

At the crane’s peak, he captured the moment with a selfie and offered viewers a panoramic sweep of the surrounding cityscape.

The man, who agreed to be interviewed if his identity was obscured, said there was no other view like it in the city.

“Me being up there all alone above everyone else in the city is really indescribable,” he told 9News.

NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon branded the man’s actions as “absolutely stupid”.

In response, the climber said “there are a lot of things that are absolutely stupid”.

“People driving, that could be absolutely stupid,” he said.

“There’s more people crashing their cars than falling off cranes at the end of the day.”

The daredevil claimed he has climbed the building four times.

Construction giant Mirvac said it had since increased security at the site.
