BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Kodak Black, the renowned rapper, has found himself in legal trouble once again in Florida, marking his second arrest this month as per records accessed by News 6.
The documentation highlights that Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri and who is 28 years old, was detained in Broward County on accusations of attempting to evade law enforcement and resisting an officer without violence.
Further details from the jail records indicate his arrest took place on Thursday by the Pompano Beach police. However, specifics surrounding the circumstances of this arrest remain limited at present.
This recent legal issue follows his booking into the Orange County jail last week, where he faced a charge related to MDMA trafficking.

The arrest warrant affidavit reveals that the previous charge originated from an incident in November 2025 at the Children’s Safety Village located on Fairvilla Road.
Police said they were investigating calls about gunshots and found two vehicles there. After smelling freshly burnt cannabis, the officer searched the vehicles, finding a pink bag that contained what appeared to be MDMA.
The affidavit reveals the bag is the same one seen on Black’s Instagram account, along with other paraphernalia, like a pair of scissors and a lighter.
In that case, the judge set his bond at $75,000, a high figure due to his 12 previous felony convictions. Regardless, Kapri later bonded out.

Kapri has also faced previous legal issues.
In 2023, police in Plantation arrested Kapri after finding him asleep at the wheel with white powder around his mouth, officials said. Although authorities said the powder initially tested positive for cocaine, a lab test later revealed it was oxycodone, for which Kapri obtained a prescription.
The arrest was a violation of his probation from an unrelated case, which led to him being locked up in Miami for two months.
Kapri was also arrested in 2022 on charges of trafficking in oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. He was freed on bond with regular drug testing as a condition of his release. Kapri was ordered into drug rehab for 30 days in 2023 after missing a drug test and then testing positive for fentanyl several days later, according to court records.
In January 2021, then-President Donald Trump commuted a three-year federal prison sentence the rapper had for falsifying documents used to buy weapons. Kapri had served about half his sentence.
