Police are investigating the death of the pair.

An inquiry has been launched following the discovery of two deceased individuals in a residence located in Melbourne’s south-western suburbs.

Authorities arrived at a home on Melton Close in Werribee around 3:30 pm yesterday for a welfare check, where they discovered the bodies of a 31-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman inside the property.

Police are investigating the death of the pair.

An autopsy is set to be performed to ascertain the cause of death.

Investigators are not actively seeking any additional suspects in connection with these deaths, as it is believed that the individuals were acquaintances.
