American Idol executive Robin Kaye and her husband are found murdered inside $5million LA mansion

An executive from the popular show American Idol and her husband have been tragically murdered in their $5 million mansion in Los Angeles.

Robin Kaye, a renowned music supervisor for the famous television program, and her husband, Thomas Deluca, both 70 years old, were found dead from gunshot wounds in their Encino home on Monday at approximately 2:33 PM, according to the Los Angeles Police Department as reported by the Daily Mail.

Police officers were responding to a request for a welfare check at the couple’s six-bedroom residence when they made the grim discovery of Kaye and Deluca, both shot in the head.

According to TMZ, authorities noticed blood near the front entrance and had to break a window to gain entry into the house.

Their unexpected deaths are being treated as a double homicide, though the motive behind the killings remains unclear, as stated by police.

Reports indicate that authorities had also been summoned to the property the previous Thursday following an attempted break-in by a suspect, as noted by the news outlet.

According to neighbors, a person, who may have been armed, was spotted hopping a fence on the tree-lined street in the ritzy California neighborhood.

Police officers were called to the home to conduct a welfare check after neighbors and family had not heard from them in four days.
