Renowned for his vibrant attire and trademark wavy hair as a judge on MasterChef, Matt Preston has recently opted for a more laid-back appearance.

This transformation is prominently displayed on the cover of his latest cookbook, “Matt Preston’s World of Flavour.”

At 60, the English-born culinary writer has traded in his signature sleek blazers and cravats for a casual bright yellow shirt, leaving the top buttons undone.

Preston’s hair now embraces its natural grey, and he sports a notably deep tan, marking a fresh chapter in his style evolution.

On Tuesday, the TV star expressed his excitement on Instagram, saying, “So thrilled to unveil the cover of my new book: Matt Preston’s World of Flavour.”

‘So excited to show you the cover of my new book: Matt Preston’s World of Flavour,’ the TV personality wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.

‘It’s out here in Australia on November 2. Researching this book has pretty [much] been my life for the last year – and I’ve loved every moment!

Daddy vibes: The English food writer, 60, has allowed his hair to naturally grey and now sports a darker tan compared to when he used to be a judge on MasterChef

‘From fine-tuning the 101+ delicious recipes, to digging deep into their stories and busting the greatest myths behind the world’s tastiest dishes to cook at home, I’ve uncovered some eye-popping stuff.

‘I’m even more excited to announce that this will be the first of two books with Penguin Books Australia. It’s great to be reunited with the team that published [2009’s] Cravat-a-Licious all those years ago.

‘Matt’s World of Flavour – out November 2 – is available to pre-order now at your favourite book seller.’

Changes: Matt has transformed his appearance since the release of his first cookbook in 2009

Matt’s new cookbook is his latest culinary venture since quitting his role as a judge on MasterChef last year.

He, along with fellow judges George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan, parted ways with the Channel 10 cooking show before the 2020 season over a pay dispute.

They were replaced by Jock Zonfrillo, Andy Allen and Melissa Leong.
