Inside the home, authorities discovered the tragic scene of two children and a woman who were deceased.
At the location, police apprehended a 47-year-old man, who was then taken to the Campbelltown police station for further questioning.
The neighborhood witnessed a significant police presence, with officers establishing a crime scene along the street.
The area around the home was sealed off with police tape, and several patrol cars with flashing lights lined the street, underscoring the seriousness of the situation.
Officers were visibly active in the front yard of the residence as they conducted their investigation.
Campbelltown detectives are investigating with the help State Crime Command’s homicide squad.
Police called on anyone with information to come forward.
