Woman removes Spencer Pratt campaign signs in LA neighborhood

In a curious twist of events, an unidentified woman was captured on camera as she boldly removed a yard sign in support of Spencer Pratt’s mayoral campaign from a Los Angeles property. This act of defiance has ignited a wave of digital detectives intent on identifying the culprit.

The incident unfolded in Studio City, where a local resident discovered the theft after reviewing his home’s surveillance footage. According to a police report acquired by The California Post, the footage reveals two young women, possibly teenagers or young adults, seizing the sign and casually walking away with it.

The homeowner, a 65-year-old man, detailed the incident in his report, stating, “I uploaded a still and have clearer video at home. I do not recognize these persons; they do not live on my street and I have never seen them in the area before.”

“I uploaded a still and I have clearer video at home. I do not recognize these persons, they do not live on my street and I have never seen them in the area before,” they added.

Journalist Daniel Guss shared a video clip that appears to capture the moment the theft took place. It features a young woman dressed in athletic gear, deftly placing the sign under her arm before pulling it from the ground. She then walks away with the sign, accompanied by another woman trailing behind.

This theft is not an isolated incident. It follows a series of unverified reports of similar sign disappearances, all seemingly involving a woman of similar description.

Guss provided a detailed description of the suspect, noting she is likely between 5’2″ and 5’4″ tall and sports a conspicuous tattoo on her left arm. At the time of the incident, she was reportedly wearing Nike high-top sneakers with dark laces and was seen sipping from a slender 12-ounce can.

Pratt is challenging Mayor Karen Bass for her seat alongside competitor socialist councilwoman Nithya Raman and a host of others.

An Emerson College poll from earlier this month placed Pratt in a second-place tie with Raman at 23% support, with Bass leading the pack at 35%.
