A significant chemical spill at an aerospace facility in Garden Grove prompted renewed evacuation orders on Friday, following an initial evacuation directive issued the previous day.
On Thursday afternoon, firefighters were called to the scene due to a vapor emission from a 34,000-gallon tank filled with methyl methacrylate, located on the 12100 block of Western Avenue, as reported by the Orange County Fire Authority.

Authorities explained that this industrial chemical is commonly used in the production of plastics and various manufacturing processes.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries related to the incident.
