Trump posts AI-generated video of himself throwing Stephen Colbert into dumpster after final 'Late Night Show' episode

In a creatively crafted AI video, former President Donald Trump takes a swipe at his long-time critic, Stephen Colbert.

The brief, 22-second video features a simulated Trump walking onto the stage of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” as the host introduces what is described as his final broadcast.

In this AI-driven scene, Trump is depicted confronting Colbert, grabbing the comedian by his suit and giving him a firm shake, highlighting their ongoing rivalry.

As the audience erupts with laughter, the video continues with Trump tossing Colbert into a green trash bin, theatrically closing the lid, and breaking into his famous dance to “Y.M.C.A.”

The video made its debut online late Friday, coinciding with the day after “The Late Show” aired its series finale.

Following the finale, Trump turned to Truth Social to express his disdain for Colbert, criticizing him for having “no talent, no ratings, no life.”

“He was like a dead person. You could take any person off of the street and they would be better than this total jerk. Thank goodness he’s finally gone!”

Trump’s posts came hours after Colbert hosted his final show on CBS, drawing 6.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen ratings. His final show included appearances by Paul McCartney, Bryan Cranston, and Ryan Reynolds.

Colbert, who hosted the show for 11 years, held back from tearing into Trump in his finale but not in his last week on air.

As the clock ran out on his network platform, Colbert criticized the president for a $1.8 million Justice Department fund to pay people who claim they were victimized by government weaponization, calling it an “all-you-can-fraud buffet,” and dubbed Trump “Blob the builder” for his litany of construction projects.

The comedy man just couldn’t stay away from TV after his sign-off.

He appeared on a public access TV show “Only in Monroe” on Monroe Community Media, cracking jokes about his former employer in a low-budget taping of a program he says he visited back in 2015.

The bit featured rocker Jack White; rapper Eminem and actors Jeff Daniels and Steve Buscemi.
