Influencer Ashleigh Huish recently shared an emotional revelation with her followers, disclosing that she had been betrayed in her relationship. Fighting back tears, the 38-year-old expressed feeling consistently let down throughout her life.
With over 500,000 Instagram followers, Huish opened up about her personal turmoil, admitting that her world has crumbled due to the recent heartbreak.
Hailing from Essex, Huish became a social media sensation during the COVID-19 pandemic, captivating audiences with her lifestyle and fashion content on TikTok, where she boasts more than 1.4 million followers.
In a heartfelt Instagram video that has garnered nearly 100,000 likes, the mother of two revealed the shocking discovery about her relationship.
Reflecting on the moment she realized the truth while on a camping trip with her children, she said, “It’s been about a week. I haven’t cried, I haven’t shouted, I haven’t done anything—I’m just a bit numb.”
“I can’t describe to you how perfect our relationship seemed, or so I thought, only for it all to be a lie. I’m not even sure it hurts yet because it hasn’t really sunk in,” she added.
And just seconds later, Ms Huish broke down in tears as she revealed one of her best friends was secretly trolling her online as she questioned why she had been ‘consistently mugged off’.
‘I never told anyone, I never told my family, my friends, and that’s it, and I moved on with my life. I’m not even crying over [the cheating], I’m crying over my f***ing mate.
She added: ‘I’m nice to everyone all the time. I’m never horrible to anyone… I deserve good because I am good, but then I get this.’
Her celebrity friends flooded the comments with support, among them Rochelle Humes, who told her she is ‘so loved’.

However, this is not the first time Ms Huish has been unlucky in love after she previously discovered in 2024 that another woman she was dating was a convicted sex offender.
She had started dating a new girlfriend called ‘Gee’- unaware that the woman was in fact Gayle Newland who was at the centre of a notorious sexual assault and exploitation case.
Huish dumped Newland after learning of her criminal past.
Newland, 34, was convicted of a string of sexual assaults in 2017 after using a £20 prosthetic penis sex toy and a blindfold to con a student into believing she was having sex with a man.
