Rihanna revealed on Wednesday that her popular Fenty Beauty brand is set to debut in China on April 1, making the announcement via the social media platform Weibo.
This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone for the singer and entrepreneur, as China ranks as the world’s second-largest beauty market, trailing only the United States.
Rihanna, recognized as America’s youngest self-made female billionaire, boasts an impressive net worth estimated at $1.4 billion, largely attributed to the success of her cosmetics empire.
In the announcement video, the star exuded style and confidence, wearing a chic black leather jacket with her honey-brown hair styled loosely over her shoulders.
The beauty mogul, who is a mother to two young sons, RZA and Riot, chose a natural makeup look, accentuated by a striking red lip that highlighted her signature pout.
Addressing her fans, she expressed her excitement, saying, “China, I am thrilled to share the great news. On April 1, Fenty Beauty will officially arrive. China has such a rich culture that has always inspired me, and I cannot wait to celebrate your unique beauty with Fenty Beauty.”
