Top sports bars & fan zones

As Los Angeles readies itself for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the city is buzzing with anticipation. From local bars and breweries to restaurants and major event venues, the entire region is rolling out the red carpet for massive watch parties, extended hours, and screenings that promise to transform even the smallest neighborhood pubs into electrifying soccer hubs.

Leading the charge, the LA Memorial Coliseum will host the FIFA Fan Festival, the official epicenter from June 11 to 14. The festival will kick off with opening matches, including the much-anticipated USA vs. Paraguay game. Attendees can look forward to an exciting blend of live music, diverse food vendors, soccer-themed activities, and tickets priced from $8.30.

For those seeking a more high-tech experience, Cosm Los Angeles is set to captivate fans with its breathtaking 12K+ LED immersive “Shared Reality” dome. Meanwhile, Tom’s Watch Bar in South Park is offering a full-immersion experience with full-audio broadcasts, official watch parties, and exclusive VIP seating packages for the most sought-after matches.

In response to the expected influx of fans, LA Metro is tweaking transit options for match days. This includes park-and-ride reservations priced up to $95 and Union Station event parking capped at $65. Parking at SoFi Stadium, however, could set fans back between $150 and $300.

Westside & Santa Monica Area

  • Busby’s West offers a full sports bar setup with cocktails, burgers, pizza, and plenty of screens, plus pool tables and bar games.
  • O’Brien’s Irish Pub will screen every match, continuing its long-standing role as a reliable live-sports destination.
  • Thunderbird Bar keeps things low-key with a darker dive-bar atmosphere, Skee-ball machines, Tex-Mex food, and happy hour specials from 4–7 p.m.
  • Tiny’s Hi-Dive adds a casual Westside option with multiple TVs spread across rooms and a laid-back crowd.
  • Fatty Mart will host a free three-day viewing party from June 19–21 in collaboration with Venice Fest, including a June 20 neighborhood block party with live music and food.

Silver Lake & Eastside

  • Pijja Palace stands out with 13 TV screens packed throughout its wood-lined dining room, creating one of the most screen-dense viewing setups in the city.
  • Red Lion, 33 Taps, Silverlake United, and Drugstore Cowboy will also host match screenings in the area.

West Hollywood & Los Feliz

  • Barney’s Beanery, a century-old Los Angeles institution, continues its run as a high-energy sports bar drawing large World Cup crowds.
  • Hi Tops, with locations in both West Hollywood and Los Feliz, leans into its identity as a “neighborhood gay sports bar” with brick interiors and steady match-day traffic.

Valley

  • The Woodman in Sherman Oaks delivers a classic sports bar experience with craft beer, burgers, and proximity to nearby dining spots like The Joint and Petit Trois.
  • Surly Goat in Encino will also show matches for Valley fans looking for a neighborhood bar setting.
  • Fox & Hound in North Hollywood adds another local option for viewing parties.

Downtown LA & Central LA

  • Tom’s Watch Bar continues its Downtown footprint with official watch parties and full-audio match coverage.
  • 33 Taps provides a more traditional sports bar environment for fans in the DTLA area.
  • Cat & Fiddle in Mid-City rounds out central LA options with pub-style screenings.

South Bay

  • Torrance Tavern features a shaded patio, strong game-day food lineup including chile verde nachos and buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and happy hour twice daily from 4–7 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close.
  • Grunions Sports Bar & Grill in Manhattan Beach, open since 1974, remains a South Bay staple with HDTVs, pub fare, and dozens of beers on tap.
  • Underground Pub in Hermosa Beach adds another local screening destination.

Pasadena & San Gabriel Valley

  • Lucky Baldwins, Barney’s Beanery, King’s Row, The 35’er, and Rocco’s Tavern will all host World Cup crowds across Pasadena.

Long Beach

  • Legends and Gallaghers will both screen matches, adding to the city’s coastal viewing options.

Special Venues & Large-Scale Experiences

  • Cosm Los Angeles offers one of the most high-tech viewing experiences in the city with its immersive 12K+ LED dome.
  • The Garage in Palms features more than 30 televisions across indoor and patio seating.
  • The Greyhound Bar & Grill in Highland Park remains a dependable neighborhood hub with bar food and wall-to-wall screens.
  • The LA Memorial Coliseum hosts the official FIFA Fan Festival™ June 11–14.
  • Common Space Brewery in Hawthorne will show every match with extended hours and collaborations with LA Galaxy, I Love Micheladas, Angel City FC, and Que Parche.
  • The Woodman-adjacent dining scene in Sherman Oaks includes The Joint and Petit Trois for pre- or post-game plans.

Complicating matters, food workers at SoFi Stadium have voted overwhelmingly in favor of a strike just days before the World Cup kickoff. As a result, soccer enthusiasts are proactively plotting alternative plans, seeking out local Los Angeles spots to ensure they have easy access to their favorite brews and a vibrant atmosphere, steering clear of potential disruptions.
