Fresh details have surfaced about Kyle Sandilands’ settlement with former employer ARN Media following the end of his $100 million contract.
Earlier reports suggested the radio personality would be paid $15 million over the next three years under the deal.
But an ASX statement released on Wednesday morning shows ARN has in fact agreed to pay Sandilands $12.09 million.
That figure is well below the amount Sandilands had reportedly claimed, with the broadcaster previously saying he was owed up to $85 million for the remaining term of the contract.
As part of the agreement, ARN will also promote Sandilands’ new independent media venture through a separate $1.5 million advertising arrangement over the next three years.
The two sides have additionally entered into a net revenue-sharing deal, under which ARN will take 19.9% of revenue from Sandilands’ new business for up to three years.

ARN has also agreed to advertise Sandilands’ new independent media project in a $1.5million deal over the next three years
Sandilands is also prevented from dealing with any of ARN’s direct competitors for nine months.
ARN Chief Executive Officer Michael Stephenson said: ‘This agreement brings certainty for ARN and resolves the legal dispute. ARN remains focused on executing its strategy, including driving a leaner, more efficient operating model, strengthening its core radio network and continuing to invest in digital capabilities and long-term growth.’
Sandilands’ former co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is moving forward with her case against ARN.
Back in April, Sandilands shocked his supporters by announcing that he’s returning with an all-new show, delivering the news via the Kyle Sandilands Fans page on Instagram.
‘Let me tell you a little secret… shhhh, don’t tell anyone. I’m working on a new project and all will be revealed soon. I’m coming back guys, bigger than ever!’ he said.
Sandilands did not reveal what the project will be; however, he was shown seated in what appeared to be a recording studio, with a sign in the background reading, ‘Kyle Sandilands Live.’
The shock jock then addressed his long-time manager, Bruno Bouchet, who he thanked for standing by him despite ‘not being paid’.
‘That’s Bruno. He’s paid to say that, well actually he’s not paid at the moment!’ Sandilands said, after Bruno told Kyle he was looking well.

Back in April, Sandilands shocked his supporters by announcing that he’s returning with an all-new show , delivering the news via the Kyle Sandilands Fans page on Instagram
Kyle explained that he has been taking care of his health, and is on a new diet that includes just grapes and boiled eggs for breakfast.
The caption on the Instagram Reel read: ‘EXCLUSIVE: Kyle has a little message for the fans! Returning to the airwaves? Podcast? We can’t wait!’
There was a telling clue in the sign visible behind Kyle in the clip, which showed an image of the radio host alongside the words ‘Kyle Sandilands Live’, implying that the new show Sandilands is working on will go live to air.
Daily Mail also revealed this week that Sandilands is considering plans for a major one-off live entertainment event celebrating two decades of The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Sandilands is exploring the idea of a one-night-only spectacular that would reunite some of the biggest celebrities and musicians who have worked on the show, while giving fans access to the broadcaster following his dramatic radio exit.
‘It’s something Kyle is genuinely excited about,’ an insider said.
‘He’s spent 20 years building relationships with some of the biggest names in entertainment. The idea is to bring them all together for one event.’
