Casey Anthony may be finished with the courtroom, but public scrutiny around her has never fully faded.
Nearly 15 years after her murder acquittal, Casey has largely chosen to stay out of the spotlight, speaking publicly mainly through social media platforms where she can shape her own message. That quieter approach stands in sharp contrast to the intense media attention that followed the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony, and the trial that dominated national headlines.
“I’ve been in the legal field since 2011,” Casey noted after joining TikTok in March 2025, “and in this capacity, I feel that it’s necessary—if I’m going to continue to operate appropriately as a legal advocate—that I start to advocate for myself and also advocate for my daughter.”

In March 2025, Casey said her current priority is working as a legal advocate.
“My goal is to continue to help give a voice to people,” she said in a TikTok. “To give people tools and resources that they can utilize, so they actually know where they can turn to.”
She also said she plans to share her perspective on Substack, where she recently published the opening chapter of her memoir, Who Is She Really?.
“We are plagued by a rush to judgment before someone even steps foot into a courtroom,” Casey wrote in her debut post on the platform, according to People. “Once a verdict is read, however long the process takes, the public must trust that the system worked the way it was intended.”
