Everton agree £18m deal for Tyrique George
Everton have struck an agreement with Chelsea over a move for Tyrique George.
The two clubs are putting the finishing touches to a package worth £18million up front, with a further £6m available in add-ons and a 15 percent sell-on clause included.
Man City reach Monga agreement
Manchester City have also reached a deal with Leicester City for Jeremy Monga, in an agreement that could rise to £12.5m and includes a sell-on clause.
That package is made up of an initial £10m fee, plus £2.5m in performance-related bonuses.
City have monitored the 16-year-old for several years, and he is expected to put pen to paper on professional terms when he turns 17 next week, on July 10.
Arsenal had previously been viewed as the frontrunners and submitted offers of their own, but ultimately decided against matching Leicester’s asking price.

As Daily Mail Sport reported, the Turkish club will pay an initial £7m for the Netherlands international, with £1.5m in add-ons.

Relegated West Ham target Everton’s McNeil
Everton winger Dwight McNeil is one of West Ham’s targets this summer.
The 26-year-old was upset to see a move to Crystal Palace collapse in January but worked his way back into the fold under David Moyes.
However, with Everton looking at adding more wide players this window, with talks ongoing over a reduced fee with Chelsea for Tyrique George, McNeil is open to a new challenge and to play more regularly.
Arsenal agree to sell Trossard to Turkish giants
Besiktas have agreed a £17.1m (€20million) deal with Arsenal to sign Leandro Trossard.
The deal will see Arsenal get £15.4m up front and £1.7m in add-ons for the 31-year-old.
Trossard, who is at the World Cup with Belgium, only has one year left on his Arsenal contract.
He joined Arsenal from Brighton in 2023.
Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli also have a year left on their contracts though the club do have a one-year option on Martinelli.

Ipswich battle rival for Brazilian forward
Ipswich have made a rival bid for Toulouse forward Emersonn after Hull revised their offer earlier this week.
Hull had made what would be a club record offer, over £13.8million, for the 21-year-old Brazilian striker, but they face competition from fellow newly-promoted Premier League side Ipswich.
Hammers appoint new recruitment chief as part of summer shake-up
West Ham have confirmed the appointment of Nils Koppen as the club’s new director of player recruitment.
The Belgian joins the Championship side from FC Copenhagen, where he was technical director, having also held similar roles at Rangers and PSV Eindhoven.
A West Ham statement read: ‘Koppen was identified as the outstanding candidate for the new role, following a thorough and detailed recruitment process that included the board and head coach Nuno Espirito Santo.
‘Koppen will begin work at West Ham United as part of a new football leadership structure for the men’s team, tasked with identifying and recruiting the players needed to secure an immediate return to the Premier League.
‘Key to the role will be leading the Club’s scouting and recruitment operation and supporting the Board with football administration and negotiations with players, other clubs and intermediaries.’
West Ham are looking at strengthening all departments in their squad and are working through a number of targets including Troyes midfielder Martin Adeline, as reported by Daily Mail Sport last month.
Everton wide man Dwight McNeil is another player on their radar this summer.
Championship trio chase Mubama
Manchester City striker Divin Mubama is attracting interest from Middlesbrough, Derby and Preston.
The 21-year-old, who joined City from West Ham for £2million in 2024, had a successful spell on loan at Stoke last season, scoring five goals until his campaign was curtailed by injury in January.
Mubama suffered ankle ligament damage after a hefty challenge from QPR’s Jimmy Dunne and initially feared he had broken his leg.
However, he has recovered well, is fit again and a number of Championship sides are keen to take him, hoping he can have a similar impact on their season.
