Tom Phillips Biography – Tom Phillips Wiki
Tom Phillips is an English business executive who serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Ladies European Tour (LET). He took up the position on April 6, 2026, following Alexandra Armas, who left the role in October 2025.
Before joining the LET, Phillips was Director of the Middle East for the DP World Tour. In that role, he helped drive the European Tour Group’s growth across the region, which now hosts six DP World Tour events — including three Rolex Series tournaments — as well as two HotelPlanner Tour events, offering total prize funds of more than $35 million.
Phillips joined the DP World Tour in 2019 after spending close to 15 years working with six-time major winner Sir Nick Faldo in London and Hong Kong, including a spell as Chief Executive Officer of the Faldo Series. During his time in charge, the junior golf circuit grew to 40 tournaments in 30 countries and remains regarded as a major development pathway for top junior and amateur players.
He also went on to lead the Hong Kong Golf Association as Chief Executive Officer, a remit that included oversight of the Hong Kong Open. Phillips has held senior business development posts across Asia as well, including at Mission Hills in China, where he managed a full calendar of golf events and supported the negotiation of long-term strategic partnerships with FC Barcelona, the NBA and the PGA of America.
