JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man will spend four decades behind bars after admitting he lured multiple women to his apartment and sexually assaulted them.
Brett Pincomb, 31, pleaded guilty Thursday to five counts of sexual battery, two counts of attempted sexual battery, one count of aggravated battery, kidnapping and false imprisonment.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, Pincomb was sentenced to 40 years at Florida State Prison in Bradford County. After completing his prison term, he must serve 10 years of sex offender probation and will be classified as a sexual predator for the rest of his life.
According to police reports, the assaults occurred between May 13 and May 15 after Pincomb invited the women to his Deerwood residence. In at least three cases, investigators said they believed he contacted the victims through a website commonly used to arrange prostitution.
Investigators also said Pincomb admitted to at least six similar attempted assaults, telling police he had been armed with a knife or taser during those incidents.
