Boston homicide detectives are investigating after a body was discovered Saturday at a Mattapan property owned by the husband of U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, according to a report.
Officers were called to the Boston neighborhood shortly before 2 p.m. for what was logged as an “investigate person call,” the Boston Globe reported, citing police spokesperson Officer James Moccia.
When police arrived, they found a deceased person in the area of the home, Moccia said.
Sergeant Detective John Boyle, another Boston police spokesperson, described the response at the seven-bedroom Malta Street property as a “death investigation,” according to the Globe.

City records show the house is owned by Pressley’s husband, Conan Harris, and has been valued at more than $919,000, the outlet reported.
Authorities have not said whether anyone was living at the residence when the body was found. The property had been listed for sale roughly a month earlier.
Representatives for Pressley could not immediately be reached for comment by The Post and declined to comment to the Boston Globe.
