Boston authorities have opened an investigation after a person was found dead at or near a property owned by the husband of U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., INC News has confirmed.
Police were called to 25 Malta St. in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood at approximately 1:52 p.m. Saturday, officials said.
Responding officers discovered a deceased individual at the scene. The Boston Police Homicide Unit is now handling the investigation into the death.
Suffolk County property records list the residence as owned by Conan Harris, Pressley’s husband, according to the Boston Herald.

The property is described as a multifamily home with eight bedrooms, four bathrooms and 2,713 square feet of space, the outlet reported.
INC News has contacted Pressley’s office seeking comment.
