Comic-Con 2026 Live Updates: Blade Runner 2099 and The Rings of Power Hall H Panel

In what feels like an Infinity Stone-powered blink, San Diego Comic-Con has arrived again. As in previous years, more than 130,000 fans, creators, journalists, and devoted pop culture diehards are descending on California’s second-largest city for a packed 72-hour celebration of comics, movies, television, gaming, and fandom.

Today, all eyes turn to Hall H, San Diego Comic-Con’s most famous and cavernous stage, where replicants, Middle-earth devotees, media members, and entertainment fans will assemble for a major Amazon Prime Video showcase.

The 90-minute presentation is expected to give audiences their first substantial glimpse at “Blade Runner 2099.” Taking place 50 years after the events of the acclaimed but box office-challenged “Blade Runner 2049,” the new series is poised to be one of the buzziest reveals at SDCC.

Prime Video will also bring “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” back to Hall H for the show’s third appearance in the iconic room, this time ahead of Season 3. The fantasy series has become a reliable San Diego Comic-Con attention-grabber, and its next chapter is scheduled to premiere on November 11.

The panel officially kicks off at 10 a.m. PT, though our pre-show coverage will begin one hour earlier. Static Media’s Brandon Rowe will be reporting from San Diego throughout the convention, delivering Looper’s on-the-ground coverage of the biggest Hall H moments.
