Kacey Musgraves has canceled three upcoming concerts, including what had been scheduled as the opening night of her Middle of Nowhere Tour.
The 37-year-old Grammy winner, who is set to launch the tour in late August, removed shows in three major U.S. cities from the schedule without publicly commenting on the change.
Fans learned of the cancellations this week through email alerts from Ticketmaster, just days after Musgraves released a sultry new music video for her song Mexico Honey.
The affected dates are the original Chicago opener on August 20, the Boston concert on August 29 and the Brooklyn show planned for September 2.
Musgraves had initially been due to begin the North American leg in Chicago on August 20 before closing that portion of the tour with two nights in Seattle at the end of October.
Before heading overseas, the tour had been expected to cover 25 North American cities across 29 dates.

She is scheduled to travel down under to Australia in January 2027.
Then, she will be journeying over to the United Kingdom in February for one concert in Scotland and two more in England.
A reason has not yet been given regarding the cancellations as of the time of reporting.
It is also not clear if any other shows will be affected.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Musgraves’s reps for comment.
The Slow Burn hitmaker had previously announced her tour in late April, and just a little over a week later, she confirmed she would be tacking on additional shows.
Several of her fans and anticipating concertgoers speculated that the shows were canceled due to low sales.
On social media, many of her fans expressed their disappointment with the sudden cancellation.
