Country legend Tim McGraw, 59, suffers humiliating onstage mishap

Tim McGraw is taking an awkward concert mishap in stride.

The 59-year-old country star was performing Thursday night in Ohio when he took a tumble onstage at Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center.

The fall came as McGraw was singing his 1995 smash I Like It, I Love It during a stop on his Pawn Shop Guitar Tour.

Rather than let the moment derail the show, McGraw laughed it off and reportedly joked to the crowd, ‘There’s a hole there,’ according to The Bobby Bones Show.

On Friday, the singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share a closeup video clip of the fall with his nearly four million followers.

He later poked fun at himself in a caption, writing, ‘Cincinnati, you started our weekend off on the right foot, even if I couldn’t stay on mine. We appreciate you coming out and singing along! Detroit, you’re up!’

Should stars share their embarrassing moments or keep mishaps off social media?

The legendary music artist went on to perform at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI on Friday night.

On Saturday, the show will continue at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids before picking up on September 5 in Snowmass, Co.

According to Bobby Bones, Thursday’s show began 40 minutes behind schedule due to inclement weather and travel issues.

Earlier this week, McGraw used social media to pay tribute to Dolly Parton in the wake of her death on Tuesday at age 80.

He shared a black and white image of the Tennessee native in her younger years and wrote, ‘She was an icon and showed us all what was possible, not only as a human but as an entertainer.

‘She was the blueprint, head and shoulders above anyone that came before her and all those of us that have come after.’

The heartfelt note continued: ‘Everything she did, she did it with kindness, grace and that famous wit and smile. It’s been hard to not be in tears all day. There will never be another Dolly Parton.’

McGraw has been married to fellow country singer Faith Hill, 58, since 1996.

They share daughters Gracie, 29, Maggie, 28, and Audrey, 24.

Earlier this month, Gracie revealed that using Ozempic ‘brought back’ her eating disorder.

The nepo baby took to her Instagram Stories to candidly speak about her experience taking the GLP-1 in 2022, and how she caved into ‘skinny culture.’

The singer said she started taking Ozempic after her diagnosis with polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), previously called polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

‘At that time, I thought it was the best decision I ever made because I finally lost weight and got skinny,’ she said.

‘Yes, it f*****g worked and made my PCOS symptoms easier to control, but it also brought back my ED (eating disorder) and negative views on my body.’

‘I think it was probably one of the worst things I’ve ever done for myself, looking back,’ she added, noting that now that she’s off the drug, she is seeing everyone ‘getting smaller and smaller’ as she gains her ‘weight back.’
