Fox News ‘Antisemitism Exposed’ Newsletter: Jewish AG's chilling message to voters

– Michigan AG Dana Nessel draws backlash over remarks to Jewish Democratic voters about prioritizing humanity over communal “safety and security”
– Trump signals openness to a Christian-backed proposal aimed at helping Canadian Jews leave amid rising antisemitism
– Mark Ruffalo accused by Hollywood figures of antisemitism following comments about Paramount’s $111 billion merger

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is under sharp scrutiny after comments to Jewish Democrats in which she invoked Queen Esther and urged voters to consider broader human stakes when weighing their political choices. Critics said the remarks suggested Jewish voters should set aside concerns about antisemitism and their own community’s security in order to support Democrats, prompting a fierce response from those who viewed the appeal as deeply troubling.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog warned that antisemitism remains an “age-old plague” with consequences that extend far beyond Jewish communities. Herzog pointed to Holocaust denial, online misinformation and social media distortions as growing threats that can corrode entire societies if left unchecked.

A group of Christian lawmakers is pressing President Trump to support a plan that would help Jewish Canadians seek refuge in the United States as concerns over antisemitic violence rise north of the border. Trump has indicated support for the proposal, which backers say would create a faster legal immigration pathway for more than 2,000 Jewish Canadians looking to leave amid growing fear and hostility.

Marvel actor Mark Ruffalo is facing criticism from Hollywood insiders after attacking Paramount’s $111 billion merger and accusing executives of enabling genocide through technology connected to Israel. Prominent producers and studio figures pushed back forcefully, accusing Ruffalo of trafficking in “simple antisemitism” and repeating harmful stereotypes about Jewish wealth and influence. Ruffalo rejected the allegations, calling them “appalling.”

Progressive Democrat Abdul El-Sayed is facing renewed criticism after campaign finance records showed ties to donors also associated with Dan Bilzerian. Bilzerian drew national attention for using AI-generated antisemitic attacks against his Republican primary opponent. Critics have focused on the shared donor network, noting that both candidates received tens of thousands of dollars from anti-Israel contributors who have pushed to reduce U.S. aid.

Veteran diplomat Shahar Azani argues that the attack on an NBC News crew by Israeli settlers should be unequivocally condemned, while also questioning what he describes as a media fixation on West Bank violence. Azani contends that this coverage pattern feeds an anti-Israel narrative pipeline, misleading the public and fueling outrage rather than providing a fuller picture of the conflict.

“For generations, America has served as a refuge for people fleeing religious persecution. We urge you to ensure that, consistent with federal law and the security interests of the United States, that door remains open to our Jewish brothers and sisters in Canada who need it today.” – National Association of Christian Lawmakers in letter to President Trump.
