A host of 1980s heartthrobs sent fans into a frenzy after reuniting for a group photo nearly four decades after the release of the Western classic Young Guns.
Brat Pack star Emilio Estevez led the 1988 film as Billy the Kid, sharing the screen with an impressive cast that included his brother Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland.
Set during New Mexico’s 1877–78 Lincoln County War, the movie follows Billy the Kid and the American Old West posse known as the Regulators.
The cast reunited at Fan Expo in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday. Dermot Mulroney, now 62, shared photos from the gathering and captioned them: “38 years later… Young Guns rides again.”
Fans were quick to praise the actors, who are now in their 50s, 60s and 70s, with many remarking on how youthful they still look.

Mulroney, who played “Dirty” Steve Stephens, joined fellow original Regulators Charlie Sheen, 61, Estevez, 64, Lou Diamond Phillips, 64, Casey Siemaszko, 65, and Sutherland, 59, for the memorable reunion photos.
Terry O’Quinn, 74, was also part of the gathering. He portrayed lawyer Alex McSween in the film.
Since Young Guns became a hit, the reunited actors have gone on to enjoy varying levels of success across film and television.
Mulroney went on to star opposite Julia Roberts in the blockbuster romantic comedy My Best Friend’s Wedding in 1997.
He later continued his work in romantic comedies, appearing in The Wedding Date and Must Love Dogs, both released in 2005, as well as last year’s Anyone But You alongside Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.
The film also gave Mulroney the chance to reunite with his My Best Friend’s Wedding co-star Rachel Griffiths.
Sheen, who played Richard “Dick” Brewer, became widely known for television hits including Spin City, Two and a Half Men and Anger Management, as well as for his much-publicized private life.
The youngest son of famed actor Martin Sheen, he expressed an interest in acting and filmmaking at a young age, making amateur films with his brothers and friends and future Hollywood stars Sean Penn and Rob Lowe.

He got his big break in 1984’s Red Dawn and later went on to appear in other movies like the 1986 Vietnam War film Platoon and the 1987 drama Wall Street.
After appearing in other films like Eight Men Out, Major League, Hot Shots! and Three Musketeers in the late 1980s and early 1990s, he replaced Michael J Fox in the sitcom Spin City from 2000 to 2002, garnering critical acclaim for his performance.
He soon went on to find huge critical and commercial success in the TV show Two and a Half Men starting in 2003 but was terminated from the program in 2011 after a well-publicized battle with the show’s creator Chuck Lorre. However, this turned out to be only a temporary setback for Sheen, as he later starred in the popular sitcom Anger Management from 2012 to 2014.
In addition to his commercial success, Sheen has also found critical acclaim, earning wins and nominations for prestigious accolades like the Golden Globe Awards, Emmy Awards, SAG Awards, People’s Choice Awards and others.
Despite all of his critical and commercial success over the years, Sheen has often struggled publicly with drug and alcohol abuse and allegations of marital problems. He was also terminated from his role on Two and a Half Men in March 2011 following derogatory and controversial public comments about the show’s creator Chuck Lorre.
In November 2015, he finally revealed to the public that he was HIV positive after first being outed by the National Enquirer, and had been battling the disease for the previous four years.

Estevez was credited with being the leader of the Brat Pack that also included the likes of Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy, Andrew McCarthy and Judd Nelson.
His break came in 1983 when he was cast in The Outsiders, which was a massive success and skyrocketed him into the spotlight.
He then starred in The Breakfast Club as Andrew Clark and St. Elmo’s Fire as Kirby ‘Kirbo’ Keger back-to-back in 1985, cementing his status in the Brat Pack.
After that, it seemed there was no slowing down for Emilio, and he landed a slew of roles including the drama That Was Then… This is Now, the horror flick Maximum Overdrive, the crime film Wisdom, the cop movie Stakeout, the sports drama The Mighty Ducks, as well as its follow-up flicks, the 1993 action movie Judgment Night, and the 2006 drama Bobby.
He also went on to become a successful director and screenwriter, spending more recent years behind the camera rather than in front of it.
But in 2018, he returned to the big screen for the movie The Public, which he wrote, directed, and starred in alongside Alec Baldwin, Christian Slater, and Jena Malone.
