A glamorous, celebrity-filled wedding celebration for Alina Habba, the former acting US attorney for New Jersey and one-time personal attorney to President Donald Trump, got underway Saturday at New York City’s Waldorf Astoria.
Habba, 42, was expected to marry 29-year-old Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon, the CEO of Miller Holding, an international conglomerate founded by his grandfather in 1967.
It remained unclear whether the couple had officially exchanged vows by Saturday evening. Festivities were taking place in the hotel’s fourth-floor ballroom, where elaborate arrangements of pink and white cherry blossoms were paired with hundreds of red roses.
One prominent event planner estimated that the ballroom rental, floral displays and entertainment alone could cost “easily $1 million.” That figure did not include potential expenses for hotel accommodations or the use of other public areas, the source said.
Habba and Mildon reportedly organized the lavish affair in roughly three months, enlisting two leading Palm Beach wedding planners. The couple had hoped to hold the celebration at the iconic Plaza Hotel, but it was already fully booked, according to a source who spoke with The Post.
Mildon’s company operates in the energy, construction and mining sectors and has reportedly helped him build relationships with political leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela, including interim President Delcy Rodriguez.
Before the reception began, Habba’s two young children, daughter Chloe and son Luke, were seen being escorted through the Waldorf Astoria lobby by a staff member.
Among the first guests to arrive was Margo Martin, a special assistant and communications adviser to President Trump.
FBI Director Kash Patel and US Attorney General Todd Blanche were also spotted among the high-profile administration figures attending the star-studded gathering.

Trump was not present Saturday night. He was in Knoxville, Tennessee, watching a major college football matchup in which No. 1 Texas defeated No. 14 Tennessee, 20-17.
Habba and Mildon made their first widely noted public appearance as a couple in April at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, an event that was abruptly cut short after a gunman tried to enter the ballroom.
The pair were later photographed celebrating together at the Executive Branch, a private Washington, DC, club, during the Fourth of July festivities.
Last week, Habba was seen with Mildon outside the upscale Polo Room restaurant in West Palm Beach, Florida, wearing a striking diamond engagement ring reportedly valued at 23 carats or more, the Daily Mail reported.
She was also carrying a pink ostrich Hermès Birkin bag, a luxury accessory with a reported price tag of about $30,000.
According to the outlet, Habba and Mildon first met earlier this year at an event held at Washington’s Kennedy Center.
The weekend festivities represent Habba’s third marriage.
The outspoken attorney divorced her second husband, parking-lot executive Gregg Reuben, sometime after leaving her position as New Jersey’s top federal prosecutor in December.
Habba’s first marriage, to attorney Matthew Eyet, ended in divorce in 2019. Eyet is the father of her two children.
