Actress Monet Mazur frightened away three masked suspects who allegedly tried to break into her Hollywood Hills home.
Mazur, 50, was at the property with her dog on Saturday night when at least three people dressed in black and wearing ski masks approached at about 11:30 p.m., the California Post reported.
The home, which realty websites estimate is worth more than $1.5 million, is fitted with security cameras. Mazur saw the suspects approaching through the live camera feed.
She confronted the group, prompting the would-be burglars to flee after realizing someone was inside. The precise nature of the confrontation remains unclear.
Mazur, who is best known for playing Laura Fine-Baker on the television series All American, contacted the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers were sent to the residence.
The suspects had disappeared by the time police arrived. An LAPD helicopter searched the surrounding area but found no one, and no arrests had been reported by Sunday evening.
Footage recorded by RMG News shows Mazur outside the property, apparently wearing pajamas while speaking on the phone, as LAPD officers responded at the scene.
The video also appeared to show a can of pepper spray resting on the doormat near the front door.
