Former South Park writer creates 'Cornell 7' website to expose alleged gang rapists

A former South Park writer has launched a website targeting seven Cornell fraternity members accused of sexual assault, as well as university employees alleged to have gone easy on them, declaring that “accountability is coming.”

Toby Morton, a satirist who wrote five episodes of the Comedy Central series from 2001 to 2003, addressed the seven men in an Instagram post Sunday. They are accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman at a fraternity house in Ithaca, New York, in October 2024.

Morton opened his post by naming Matthew Ingalls, Johnathan Newell, Winston Lee, Gillio Lopes, Diego Sarabia, Scott Norris and Scott Kretzschmar. He said he had created a site called “TheCornell7.org” to record what he described as their alleged crimes.

“I not only own variations of your domain names, but I now have photos,” Morton wrote, adding that he was “slowly finding out where you work.”

He also said his efforts would extend to Cornell employees whom he believes helped the men avoid harsher consequences, writing that he was “coming for them too.”

Morton said some people had contacted him to point out that he is not a journalist, but “just a satirist.”

“This is true. But this makes me more dangerous,” he wrote. “I have no limits. No boundaries. Nobody to tell me I’ve gone too far.”

The online campaign comes as prosecutors revisit allegations involving the former Cornell student after her attorney filed a civil lawsuit earlier this month.

The initial investigation into the alleged 2024 assault ended without criminal charges. However, Tompkins County District Attorney Matthew Van Houten told ABC News that the civil lawsuit presents allegations that are “dramatically different” from those examined previously.

In the complaint, filed Sept. 16, the woman—identified only as Jane Doe—claims that seven members of Cornell’s Chi Phi fraternity drugged and sexually assaulted her at the fraternity house in October 2024. She further alleges that other fraternity members were encouraged to participate through a group chat.

The seven men have not been criminally charged. According to the lawsuit, they received temporary suspensions and were allowed to try to mitigate their conduct by submitting essays to the university.

Cornell has denied the allegations.

The lawsuit includes photographs purportedly showing the group chat.
