Although the X50 Ultra launched in early 2025, it remains one of Jen’s picks for the best robot vacuums of 2026. Its appeal comes from a broad feature set that generally performs well. Along with strong vacuuming and mopping, the robot’s mop pads extend outward to clean beneath cabinets and other low furniture. It can also climb thresholds up to 6 centimeters—more than 2 inches—helping it move between rooms where many robot vacuums might get stuck.
Routine maintenance is relatively minimal, as you’d expect from a well-equipped robot vacuum and mop. The X50 Ultra can remove, wash, and dry its mop pads without assistance, while its self-emptying dock stores the collected debris for several weeks. Dreame says the dustbin can go as long as 100 days before it needs to be emptied, though the actual interval will depend on how much dirt and debris your home produces. Frequent mopping, meanwhile, may require regular refills of the water tank.
