Ken Urker, the former fiancé of convicted murderer Gypsy-Rose Blanchard, has died at 33.
Urker was found unresponsive at a home in Louisiana on Thursday, which was also his birthday, according to TMZ.
Family sources told the publication that Blanchard’s brother, Dylan, discovered Urker at the residence.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Blanchard for comment.
Sources said Blanchard had sent Urker a “Happy Birthday” message but did not receive a reply.
The sudden death has reportedly left both Blanchard’s family and Urker’s relatives devastated and in shock.
The former couple shared a 21-month-old daughter, Aurora Urker, who was born on December 28, 2024.

Aurora’s birth came around the first anniversary of Blanchard’s release from prison, following the seven years she served for her role in the murder of her abusive mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.
Blanchard and Urker had a tumultuous, on-and-off relationship. They became engaged in October 2018 while she was incarcerated, but ended their relationship months later before reuniting in August 2019.
After splitting again for several years, Blanchard married Ryan Scott Anderson in July 2022 while she was still serving her sentence for her mother’s killing.
In March 2024, three months after her release, Blanchard announced that she and Anderson had separated. She and Urker reconciled the following month.
As a child, Blanchard was the victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Her mother, Dee Dee, forced her to present herself publicly as an invalid and kept her in a wheelchair.
Dee Dee also shaved Gypsy-Rose’s head and administered drugs to make others believe her daughter had muscular dystrophy and leukemia.
That abusive relationship ended in 2015 when Gypsy-Rose’s boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, entered their home in Springfield, Missouri, and fatally stabbed Dee Dee. She was 48.
Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and spent nearly 10 years behind bars before receiving early parole and being released in December 2022.

While in prison, she bonded with Urker after he sent her a letter, and they started corresponding.
Things soon turned romantic, and he went on to propose in 2018.
But after the Hulu miniseries The Act – which starred Joey King as Gypsy and Patricia Arquette as her mother – premiered a few months later and put an intense spotlight on Gypsy’s story, she admitted in her memoir that Ken couldn’t handle the sudden wave of attention.
After announcing her split from her husband, Ryan Anderson, in March 2024, Blanchard revealed in July of that year that she and her reunited fiancé Urker were expecting a child.
