Rob Lowe was seen visiting his younger brother Chad after authorities confirmed that Chad’s 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, died by suicide.
The 62-year-old former Brat Pack actor arrived at his 58-year-old brother’s home in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Rob was accompanied by his 21-year-old son, John Owen Lowe, as they joined the family during the difficult period.
On Thursday evening, the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner determined that Fiona had died by suicide.
Emergency responders were called to the family home at 12:10 a.m. on Tuesday. Fiona was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m., according to the Medical Examiner.
The autopsy report also stated that her remains may now be released to her parents.

In a statement confirming Fiona’s death on Tuesday, the Lowe family called her “the light of our lives” and said she was “adored by her sisters” and “deeply loved by her parents”
The Lowe family announced Fiona’s death in a statement on Tuesday, saying they were devastated by the loss of “a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance.”
“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,” the statement continued. “In fact, she was the light of our lives.”
The family also encouraged anyone experiencing mental health difficulties to seek support through the suicide prevention helpline.
Fiona was the middle child of Chad and his wife, Kim Painter, who married in 2010. The couple also share daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.
One of Chad’s former co-stars has also offered support following the family’s loss.
David Boreanaz, who starred with Chad on the series Bones, paid tribute to Fiona while sharing the number for the national suicide and crisis lifeline.
The 57-year-old actor posted a photograph featuring himself, his 24-year-old son Jaden Rayne Boreanaz, Kim Painter and two of her daughters, including Fiona. He captioned the image: “My deepest condolences to my friends Chad and Kim with the loss of their beautiful soul, Fiona.”
“May she be surrounded in light and dance in heaven with all the angels. If you or someone you know is experiencing such difficulties, you can contact the lifeline by calling or texting 988,” he added.

Chad starred as Brandon Casey in one episode of Bones in 2009 but directed 13 episodes in seasons spanning 3 to 11.
Meanwhile, Boreanaz starred in all 245 episodes of the series as it aired over 12 seasons from 2005 to 2017.

Her grandfather Charles Lowe, the father of Chad and his older brother and fellow actor Rob, also shared a touching tribute to her on Wednesday.
He posted a heartwarming photo of Fiona smiling at the camera as she swam in a pool, writing: ‘Rest in peace sweet Fiona.’
Parents at the teen’s school received an email from the principal on Tuesday, letting them know that a student had died, according to Page Six. The email did not specify who it was.
The message offered condolences to the student’s family and advised that ‘counselors are available to meet with students and staff who may need emotional support during this difficult time.’
Chad’s Instagram account is full of heartwarming photos of his three daughters.

The actor also shared a photo of all three of his daughters in February 2025, showing them visiting the ruins of their childhood home in Los Angeles, following the devastating Palisades wildfire.
The girls were seen with their arms around each other as they looked on at the ruins.
‘Almost a month after we evacuated our girls finally got to go back to see what’s left of their home,’ he wrote in the caption.
‘The way they’ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable. I am in awe of their spirit and resilience. Helping them navigate these tough times is my sole purpose. Being their dad is my life’s greatest joy and privilege.’
