The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a Gulfstream jet carrying six people after the aircraft vanished Saturday morning during a flight from Bermuda to Boston.
The Gulfstream G100, a twin-engine midsize aircraft, is believed to be off Nantucket. Air crews and surface vessels have been dispatched to the area, the Coast Guard’s Northeast District said.
The Federal Aviation Administration lost contact with the plane early Saturday, according to the Coast Guard.

FlightAware data shows the aircraft departed Bermuda International Airport at 11:41 p.m. ET.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board had not immediately responded to requests for comment from News Outlet.
