Talk about a road rage incident.
A terrifying dashcam video captured the moment a massive bear emerged from the darkness and attacked a woman’s car.
The enormous animal appeared from the trees with its cub, leaving the driver no choice but to slam on the brakes.
Just seconds later, the bear, believed to be the cub’s mother, charged the vehicle and began pounding on the hood as the woman in her 30s desperately scrambled to lock the doors.
The frightening encounter was about to become even more terrifying.
The bear then placed its huge paws on the car and began violently shaking it.
As the woman watched helplessly, the animal repeatedly bit at the metal, trapping her inside and raising fears that it might eventually break through the windows.

The alarming bear attack took place on Tuesday evening as the woman was driving home from work on Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido, according to the U.S. Sun.
Remarkably, she escaped without injury and was eventually able to drive the damaged vehicle to the nearest police station, where she reported the incident.
She said: “I stopped because I thought I was going to hit them, and then it attacked.
“I locked the doors and prayed it wouldn’t get inside and waited for it to go away.”
The commuter feared the bear would smash through the glass as the car shook beneath its weight and its growls filled the vehicle.
The brutal attack left the hood badly dented and covered with deep claw marks. Several claws even punched holes through the metal.
Drivers are now being urged to remain vigilant, particularly when using isolated rural roads after dark.
