WASHINGTON — FBI Director Kash Patel is engaged to country singer Alexis Wilkins, his girlfriend, with the couple announcing the news Sunday.
Wilkins, 27, shared the announcement on social media by posting a photo of herself displaying a new diamond ring beside Patel, 46. Both were beaming in the image.
“Went and got the law involved,” she joked in the caption.
The couple first met at a friend’s event in Nashville in 2022 and began dating early the following year.
“We just happened to meet,” Wilkins said last year while discussing their relationship and brushing aside a question about their age difference during an appearance on the “Megyn Kelly Show.”

“I have always liked [him], when I met him, I just liked that he was so, so honest,” Wilkins said. “He’s exactly who he is all the time. His character is incredible. His values are incredible.”
The couple stayed close as Patel handled the demands of leading the FBI while facing scrutiny from the media.
Wilkins, like Patel, is conservative and has hosted a show on Rumble.
Patel later reposted his new fiancée’s announcement Sunday, adding heart and diamond-ring emojis.
