Academy Museum Gala 2026: See worst dressed stars on the red carpet

Hollywood’s biggest names gathered in Los Angeles on Saturday for the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala, bringing plenty of high-fashion glamour to the occasion.

Taylor Swift was lined up to perform during the celebration, while Charlize Theron, Colman Domingo and Halloween director John Carpenter were recognized as this year’s honorees.

The festivities began with a star-studded arrival at the glittering red carpet, where Karlie Kloss and Brittany Snow were among the early arrivals.

As the guests posed for photographers and displayed their gala looks, however, several outfits drew attention for all the wrong reasons.

Pamela Anderson, 59, made a particularly unusual fashion statement, while Inde Navarrette opted for an equally unconventional dress.

Here is a closer look at the stars whose Academy Museum Gala outfits stood out as some of the evening’s least successful red-carpet looks.

The skirt extended into a sweeping train and featured a prominent bow detail at the waist.

Anderson added a neon-green clutch and wore her blonde hair in a cascade of voluminous curls.

Inde Navarrette, known for Obsession, also drew attention for one of the night’s more unconventional red-carpet ensembles.

The actress wore a nude-toned gown with a corset-style bodice and glossy black circular embellishments spread across much of the design.

The dress created a balloon-like volume around her upper thighs before cascading into a second layer that ended just below the ankles.

She finished the look with closed-toe black pumps and a matching black clutch.

Navarrette wore her dark hair in a sleek chignon, complementing the distinctive dress with a sparkling silver necklace and coordinating earrings.
