Often described as the “most beautiful royal”, Lady Amelia Windsor showed she is equally at home on the fashion runway when she appeared at a London catwalk yesterday.
The granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, a cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth and 45th in line to the throne, brought bohemian elegance to the event as American label Peruvian Connection marked its 50th anniversary with an exclusive presentation of its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection.
Held at St John’s Church on Hyde Park Crescent, the evening celebrated luxurious fabrics, eye-catching statement pieces and the brand’s signature Andean-inspired style, with Lady Amelia taking a prominent role in the show.
The 31-year-old model opened the presentation in the Springbok jacquard-knit maxi dress in Fawn.
Crafted from luxurious Peruvian Pima cotton and priced at £519, the dress captured Peruvian Connection’s distinctive aesthetic, pairing intricate detailing with relaxed sophistication.
She layered the look with the reversible Montmartre jacket, a sumptuous Italian shearling design costing £2,750, which added warmth, texture and an extra touch of refinement.
Lady Amelia, who was previously dubbed the “most beautiful royal” by Tatler magazine, returned to close the show in further standout looks from the collection, making her one of the evening’s major highlights.

She returned to the catwalk to close the show, saying the experience was “a lot of pressure” but also “a huge honour”
Speaking about the experience, she said: “I absolutely love the collection. Peruvian Connection’s materials are beautiful, and the craftsmanship is exquisite.
“It was a lot of pressure to open and close the show, but it was a huge honour, and I’m so grateful.”
Peruvian Connection’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection placed the label’s heritage and craftsmanship at the centre of the presentation. Marking five decades of fashion, the range featured rich textures, intricate knitwear and natural materials designed to combine individuality with everyday luxury.
Joining Lady Amelia on the runway were model and businesswoman Lilly Becker, The Real Housewives of London star Juliet Mayhew and Bridgerton actress Genevieve Chenneour.
Following the show, guests including Lady Victoria Hervey, Hayley Palmer, Amanda Eliasch, Ben Ofoedu and Precious Muir sampled Peruvian-inspired dishes from Kusikuy and Lima Nikkei. They were also served classic Pisco Sours and Chilcanos made with Amathus’s 1615 Pisco Quebranta.
Annie Hurlbut, founder and CEO of Peruvian Connection, said: “For fifty years, Peruvian Connection has celebrated artistry, craftsmanship and cultural discovery.
“As we enter our next chapter, we’re honouring that legacy while evolving the brand for the future.
“Our refreshed identity and the return of our men’s collection reflect our commitment to timeless design, extraordinary natural fibres, and the artisans whose work has inspired us since 1976.”

Last night’s appearance was just the latest in a long line of fashion events for Lady Amelia, who is known for bringing a natural elegance to major runways and prestigious industry events.
In February 2017, the royal made her runway debut walking for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week, before joining the Princess Olympia of Greece on the runway later that year at a special fashion parade held by the fashion house in Palermo, Sicily.
And, in October 2022, she looked effortlessly stylish in bright colours as she walked the catwalk at a London Fashion Week show wearing Zeynep Kartal x Li & Fung.
She’s also become a red carpet regular, attending star-studded fashion events such as the Dior show in Paris in 2022, where she looked effortlessly cool in a black tulle skirt and military-style jacket with gold buttons, complete with a dazzling chain.
In September 2024, she stepped out for a London Fashion Week closing party, turning heads in a black minidress for the event, which was presented by 1664 Blanc celebrating 40 years of LFW, with the BFC and Burberry.
The glamorous fashionista completed her ensemble with knee-high leather boots, a suede green blazer, a cream handbag and a gold necklace at The Roof Gardens in Kensington.
