Roger Moore and his wife, Kristina Tholstrup, made a stylish entrance at the Venice Film Festival in perfectly coordinated lilac outfits.
The 85-year-old James Bond star and Kristina, 71, affectionately known as Kiki, were seen stepping from their taxi boat in Venice on Monday.
Holding hands, the couple walked along the wooden decking towards the venue, both dressed in strikingly similar shades of purple.

The Venice Film Festival’s pre-opening event takes place on Tuesday at the Campo San Polo Arena, with a screening of Francesco Rosi’s Le mani sulla città (Hands Over the City, 1963).
Directed by Alberto Barbera, the 70th festival will run from August 28 to September 7.
The festival aims to raise awareness of, and promote, international cinema in all its forms.

The jury will present prizes for feature-length films, including the Golden Lion for Best Film, the Silver Lion for Best Director and the newly introduced Grand Jury Prize.
The ceremony opens with the non-competition film Gravity, directed by Alfonso Cuarón and starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
Twenty films will compete for the coveted Golden Lion at the world’s oldest film festival. The line-up includes Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem, starring Christoph Waltz as a reclusive computer genius, and Peter Landesman’s Parkland, which examines events at Dallas’ Parkland hospital on the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Director Alberto Barbera announced Thursday that this year’s film line-up are bleak in their outlook.
‘Perhaps one of the strongest themes that emerges from all the films is the lack of prospects. There’s an acknowledgment of an extremely problematic situation, in some cases tragic,’ Barbera told a news conference.
‘Cinema mirrors reality, so we can’t complain if auteur films today gives us an image of our times that is not consoling.’
