The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Bola Tinubu, is expected to meet with the Senate caucus of the ruling party on Wednesday afternoon.

Ezrel Tabiowo, media aide of Senate President Ahmad Lawan, disclosed this in a statement.



The meeting is scheduled to hold in the Senate President’s conference room.

”The Senate caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will hold a meeting with the National Leader of the ruling party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, today at 2.30pm,” the statement said.

”This was disclosed by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, in a letter read at the start of plenary on Wednesday. The letter was signed by the Senate Leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North).

“There will be APC Senate caucus meeting with His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu today, March 16, 2022,” Lawan said.

”The meeting between the APC Senate caucus and presidential aspirant is scheduled hold in the Senate President’s conference room.”

Tinubu has already declared his ambition to contest in the 2023 general election to be Nigeria’s president.
