On Wednesday, Emmy winner Amy Schumer mourned the loss of fellow Netflix star Cat Daisy Coleman, who committed suicide, age 23, on Tuesday night after four prior attempts.

‘Daisy Coleman I’m so sorry this world was so unfair to you. You were a warrior a beautiful artist and I’m lucky I got to get to know you and love you,’ wrote the 39-year-old Brett Kavanaugh protester, who lost her virginity being raped in her sleep as a teenager.

‘This is a gut wrenching loss and we will continue all your incredible work with @safe_bae fighting for survivors. If you want to see Daisy’s work you can go to @youngcattattoos the links to some of her work are in her bio. And #audrieanddaisy is on @netflix Rest In Peace angel.’

The SafeBAE co-founder discussed her horrifying rape ordeal in Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk’s 2016 documentary Audrie & Daisy, which is still streaming on Netflix.

The other subject of the documentary – Audrie Pott – also committed suicide, age 15, 10 days after her 2012 sexual assault, which had been circulated on social media.

Eight-time Grammy nominee Tori Amos – who was raped a knife point at age 21 and is the spokesperson for Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) – wrote of Daisy’s passing: ‘Heartbroken. There are no words.’

Public shaming activist Amanda Knox tweeted a snap of the semicolon tattoo Coleman inked on her finger in 2018 and wrote that she was ‘devastated.’

‘She was so kind & thoughtful, even as the mob sought to erase her after her assault. She imprinted herself on me, literally, tattooing this semicolon on my hand,’ Amanda wrote.

‘It’s the symbol for suicide survivors. Daisy was brave, a fighter for others more than for herself. I hope she’s remembered for the good she did, & not the bad done to her.’

The 33-year-old acquitted murder suspect had interviewed the tattoo artist for an episode of her Facebook Watch series, The Scarlet Letter Reports.

‘Healing and peace is a journey and can often last a lifetime. Please continue to support victims, survivors, and the organizations and resources in place to help them to heal mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well.’

‘I can’t believe the cruelty that’s directed toward women in this nation, and this world,’ the 59-year-old Sex and the City alum wrote. ‘It’s born from a place beyond my comprehension.’

Daisy was 14 when she was raped in 2012 by Matthew Barnett at a Missouri house party in the presence of his pals Jordan Zech, Nick Groumoutis, and Cole Forney.

‘Audrie and Daisy would both be alive today if those boys were held accountable. Shame on Sheriff White – total sadist and narcissist. You daughters will never be safe If he is sheriff…..destroying evidence and lying!’
